We are pleased to announce the release of version 3.6.6, which makes working with the system not only more convenient but also noticeably more stable. We focused on two key areas: interface localization and refining the low-level modules for disk and filesystem management.
The major new feature is full support for interface language switching. You can now work in Russian or English, and the built-in plugin for managing language packs makes it easy to expand this selection in the future. The plugin architecture has been revised to ensure proper operation of the multilingual interface without compromising performance.
Special attention in this release has been given to system modules. We conducted a deep revision of LVM, RAID, and mount point handling. In Disk Manager and LVM Manager, issues with volume mounting and fstab synchronization have been fixed — operations are now predictable and error-free. In RAID Manager, the array creation interface has been optimized: system drives no longer appear in the list of available devices, eliminating the risk of accidental misoperations. Mount Manager has been completely reworked — mount management and fstab mount point configuration have become more transparent and reliable.
Additionally, we’ve brought order to hostname and domain configuration. The editing logic has been fixed: the hostname is now correctly written to /etc/hostname, and the /etc/hosts file is populated strictly according to the rules, eliminating duplicates and invalid entries.
Among the general fixes — UI errors affecting the stability of control element display have been resolved, as well as critical failures when working with the fstab file across all related modules.
The update is recommended for all users, especially those who actively work with disk operations and prefer a native-language interface.
